Overlooking the Elisabeth Bridge the hotel is only a few steps away from the Danube as well as from the Vaci utca. Walk on the promenade while the sun sets, visit the Parliament, the National Museum or the Cathedral - your options are plentiful. Whether you are on a family vacation or a business trip, available opportunities and attractions make for a unique experience. Great public transport connections (nearest underground station only 300 m far).

The hotel is in a spectacular classical style building from the early 20th century. Elevator and 24-hour reception serve comfort in the five-storey hotel. Unfortunately private parking lot is not available but there is public parking in front of the hotel and in nearby parking houses. The beautifully designed renaissance Matthias Cellar Restaurant awaits guests in the cellar of the hotel with traditional Hungarian dishes and great wines. The uniform of the waiters and the gypsy music will make the place like a feast of a Hungarian king. Folklore programs entertain tourists every Wednesday and Thursday. The restaurant’s banquet rooms are suitable for special events, family and business meetings. Drinkbar is also available. Pets welcome.

The cosy and intimate rooms have private bathroom (shower or bathtub), television (satellite channels, Pay-Tv), telephone, radio and minibar. Non-smoking, air-conditioned and rooms with wireless Internet are available on special request. For families we offer the spacious apartments consisting of a living room and a bedroom. Some rooms have a nice view to the Danube and the Buda Castle.
