Location

Hotel Bara*** is situated on the Buda side of the city, on Hegyalja ut, at the incoming section of M1 and M7 motorways. The hotel is at the foot of the Gellert Hill, 400 metres away from Elizabeth Bridge and the Danube. The Mammut and the MOM Park shopping malls offer shopping possibilities in the neighbourhood. Getting to Buda castle and the Gellert Bath takes only a short walk. Bus station (#8 and #112) is about 15 metres, tram station (#61) is about 150 metres far from the hotel. Means of public transportation allow a quick and simple access both to the downtown and the distant districts.

The five-sorey hotel – built in 1998 – was renovated in 2006. Elevator is available. Guests arriving by car can park in the two-storey underground garage (upon charge). Wireless Internet access and Internet corner are available in the lobby. The restaurant awaits guests between 7:00 am and 22:00 pm with delicacies of the international and the Hungarian cuisine, it can also serve as the scene of various events (the maximum capacity is 90 persons). In the lobby drinkbar (open between 7:00 am and 23:00 pm) guests can choose from a wide selection of drinks. Pets welcome.

Rooms

The hotel’s rooms have an average size, they are equipped with a private bathroom (shower), television (Hungarian, English, German, French, Italian satellite channels) and minibar, the floor is parquetted. Nonsmoking, antiallergic and disabled rooms are available. Hairdryer can be requested at the reception. Room service is at guests’ disposal between 7:00 am and 21:00 pm.

The conference rooms of the hotel have the total capacity of 450 persons. All rooms have natural daylight, but they can be dimmed. Most of them are air-conditioned.
