Location

Hotel Benczur*** is located in the diplomatic quarter, in the vicinity of the Heroes’ Square and the City Park. The hotel’s street, the Benczur utca, is parallel with the world heritage Andrassy ut. Several tourist attractions await visitors in the near, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Zoo, the Circus, the Fun Fair and the Szechenyi Bath. Any parts of the city can be approached by means of public transportation (subway and bus stops nearby), getting to the the Vaci utca takes only 10 minutes.

The hotel gained its 3-star superior category due to the renovation of 2008, when a new superior wing was created. The whole refurbished wing is non-smoking. Elevator, Internet corner and drinkbar are available in the 7-storey hotel. The Zsolnay Restaurant await guests between 12:00 pm and 22:00 pm, the menu contains international, Hungarian, vegetarian and dietetic meals, moreover goat, goat cheese, beef, pork and cabbage specialities. The terrace and the garden are ideal for enjoying a romantic meal or just relaxing in the shade. Parking possibility (for cars and buses) is provided in closed, guarded parking lot. The conference and seminar rooms are suitable for events of 20-200 participants, they have basic equipment (flipchart, loudspeakers, interpreter, mobile furniture and tools). Pets welcome.

Rooms

Standard rooms have a bathroom (bathtub or shower), hairdryer, television and minibar. The airconditioned Superior rooms embody 4-star standards, they have safe (free of charge), LAN Internet access, LCD television and a balcony. Most rooms are carpetted, but antiallergic rooms are parquetted. Non-smoking rooms can be requested. The disabled room can be conjoined with the neighbouring room. The hotel offers suites both in standard and superior categories, which are more spacious than the rooms and have a couch. Superior suites are equipped with a bathtub and shower, too. Room service is at guests’ disposal between 7:00 am and 10:00 am.
