Hotel Peregrinus *** is situated in the center of the Hungarian capital, in the neighbourhood of the bustling Vaci Utca. The hotel’s convenient location favours to tourists, as getting to the entertainment and recreational possibilities, restaurants, cafés and shops of the center takes only 1 minute on foot. Due to the quiet and clean surroundlings, the hotel creates a perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The Danube can be reached with a short walk.

The art relic building of the hotel dates back to the 1800’s. The facade was renovated in 2003, while the interior in 2006, but the building preserved its original classic style. The hotel is run by the famous Hungarian university – the ELTE. It is highly recommended to those, who look for a friendly hotel with unique atmosphere. Elevator provides easy access to the upper floors in the 3-storey hotel. The services include 24-hour reception and Internet corner. The hotel offers a meeting room for smaller events and meetings (maximum capacity: 18-20 persons), it has basic equipment and Internet access (free of charge). The inner garden is suitable for recreation, it is nicely illuminated in the evening to create an intimate atmosphere. Pets are not allowed. A fully refurbished hotel awaits guests from March 01, 2008.

Rooms

All rooms are renovated and have high ceiling, a bathroom with shower, television (Hungarian, English, German, French and Italian satellite channels), telephone, minibar, Internet access (LAN, free of charge) and a parquet floor. The rooms are relatively cool in the summer time because of the thick walls, only rooms in the attic have air-conditioning. Double rooms are equipped with separate beds, but they can be be put near each other (no space between the beds). Double room with 1 double bed is not available.
