Panorama Restaurant (the restaurant of the prestigious Danubius Hotel Gellert ****) is located in picturesque surroundings, at the foot of the Gellert Hill. The hotel stands on the Buda side, by the River Danube, at the bridgehead of the Liberty Bridge.
Approach
Panorama Restaurant can be reached easily by public transportation as well as by car. Take tram number 47 or 49 at Deak ter (square), tram 19 or 41 at Batthyany ter and simply get off at Gellert ter. You can also reach us directly by the busses nr. 7 and 73. For guests arriving by car we provide free parking place in front of the hotel or by the riverbank.
Restaurant
Gellért Hotel's Panorama Restaurant, and charming terrace, offers a superb view over the Danube and Budapest. The restaurant is equally renowned for its outstanding cuisine, featuring great specialities of international cuisine as well as masterpieces of Hungarian cooking, and evidently the finest wines from famous cellars to complement the dining experience.
Laszlo Berki and his gypsy band provide entertainment in the evenings. During the summer season guests may discover an inimitable Hungarian mood generated by the folklore show, staged each Friday at 8 p.m. On Sundays a sumptuous buffet brunch is available with special family discounts.
