You may receive recommended tests or immunizations during your visit, or you may need to schedule separate appointments.

What is non preventive care?
Examples of non-preventive care include: Diagnostic tests and screenings: These are not routine tests and screenings. For example if your radiologist finds something on your mammogram and wants another, it’s considered a diagnostic mammogram and will typically not be covered as preventive care.
Is a CBC considered preventive?
The urinalysis, CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel and thyroid test would be covered under the diagnostic benefits because these services are not listed under the Preventive Schedule.
Is per diem the same as on call?
Is per diem the same as on-call? Yes. In healthcare, the nurses working in a per diem role are essentially working on call. Working on-call means different things based on the facility or organization.
