Re: Sixth Floor Museum–worth it? Yes, it’s one of the best small museums around. Plan on spending at least two hours there. I live very close to the downtown area and go to the museum about every 18 months as they have special shows that rotate through.

This site is one of those places that you ‘must see’ if you’re visiting Dallas for the first time but really there isn’t much there. A small monument and crosses in the road showing where the gunshots hit. It’s a place to show your respects rather than a museum.
