What is the difference between zones and sectionals?
Zone and Sectional meets are of the same competition level, but serve different purposes. Zone meets are for age group swimmers and Sectional meets are for Senior swimmers.

What are Futures Championships?
They created a new summer “Futures Championships” meet (Futures) that provides swimmers with a new stepping stone between Sectionals and Junior Nationals. Some think of this Futures meet as a “junior” Junior Nationals.
What is a dual meet in swimming?
A dual meet is a meet between our team and one other team. (Tri-meets and quad meets are the same format as dual meets, except there are 3 or 4 teams present). For duals, tri’s, and quads, the coaches pick the events for the swimmers.
