Is one shot paint oil-based?

Can you use one shot paint on plastic?
Yes but….they must be PET bottles. store the bottles up-side down to prevent skinning over of your paint. If you use a a plastic bottle that is NOT PET the plasticizer in the bottles may migration to the paint resulting in slower drying times, lower gloss levels and reduced durability.
Does one shot paint contain lead?
A little can of oneshot isn’t going to put many fumes in the house while you practice. A lot of that houshold use stuff has to do with painting household surfaces and then letting you kids chew on them. It is lead based.
What paint do pinstripers use?
1 Shot enamel was originally created for sign painting more than 60 years ago, and it is still the most popular paint for custom lettering and hand painted pin stripes on cars. Eastwood sells many colors of this paint, as well as the other compatible chemicals that go with it.
Is there lead in one shot paint?

How long does it take for 1 shot to dry?
Dry to touch: 2 to 5 hours. Dry to handle: 8 to 12 hours. Dry to recoat: 12 to 16 hours.

Can you clear coat over one shot paint?
Can I clear coat over 1 Shot Lettering Enamels? Yes. It’s important that your paint is completely dry prior to overcoating. We recommend that you use our 1 Shot #4007 Hardener, and wait at least 24 hours prior to clearing.
Can you mix one shot paint?
1 Shot Lettering Enamels are infinitely mixable with the exception of 199L Black. By combining from our 44 color selection, and/or our special Tinting White, Tinting Black, and 1 Shot 4003 Clear, you can create ANY color, in various configurations ranging from opaque to glistening, transparent candy colors.
