There are two ways to re-treat your Castelli Nano Flex garment and restore the water-resistant finish.
- Apply a commercially available water-repellent spray-on softshell treatment agent.
- If necessary to reactive the water repellency, you can also tumble dry on low heat for about 20 minutes.

Given its designated temperature range is 2C – 14C, one might think going sub-zero would be pushing it. The fact is, the Puffy can be used effectively WAY colder than 2C, overlapping the use-range of the Alpha RoS 2.

Castelli recommends a temperature range of 4 to 16℃ (39 to 61°F) for both jackets.
How waterproof is Castelli Perfetto RoS?
It’s not fully waterproof – it’s more for protection against showers on otherwise dry rides – but nevertheless, for such a breathable jacket, it’s impressive. The shoulder seams are taped on the outside and the zip is covered by a water-resistant flap (apart from at the very bottom).
How do you clean a Gabba?
USE THE RIGHT CLEANER To get grease out of a your Gabba (or other soft shell garment), dampen the stain with warm water and rub in a little gentle dish-washing liquid (but not too much! We use fairy here too). You can then wash the jersey in warm water with non-bio liquid.
How do you wash Castelli Ros?
Hand or machine wash on a lukewarm permanent press cycle (max. 40°C / 104°F). Use a small amount of liquid detergent, not powder detergents or any products that contain fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleach as they will affect garment performance. Do not use a fabric softener!
