Depending on the crop use 4 to 16 ounces per acre mixed with 16 to 32 ounces of a non-ionic surfactant. Grass Out Max does not control sedges or broadleaf weeds, just annual and perennial grasses as a selective post-emergent herbicide.

How fast does Clethodim work?
This herbicide is used mostly to remove annual grasses in food plots. However, like Clethodim, it’s a fairly slow killer, and often takes 10 to 12 days to fully kill unwanted grasses in plots.
What is sethoxydim used for?
Use Against Natural Area Weeds: Sethoxydim is a selective herbicide used to kill and suppress annual and perennial grasses. It is applied as a post-emergent herbicide, and requires the addition of an oil adjuvant or nonionic surfactant for maximum effectiveness (WSSA 1994).
How do you mix Clethodim 2E?
Approximate use rate: 12-16 ounces per acre. For small batch spot spray use: 0.5-1 ounce per gallon of water. Use Charge SOC (Crop Oil replacement) at 2 quarts per 100 gallons of water or 1 pint per 25 gallons of water (1/2 ounce per gallon water).
Does Clethodim need a surfactant?
After reviewing the clethodim label, you will see that a surfactant is required to mix with the herbicide solution. This surfactant acts as a “sticking” agent to bond your herbicide to the leaves of the plants you are spraying, which allows the herbicide to be better absorbed.
Can I mix Clethodim and 24db?
Don’t tank mix them together or you will get severe antagonism. 16oz per acre of a 1lb AI clethodim or 8 oz per acre of a 2lb AI but that needs oil with it.
