Gainbridge Fieldhouse is the new name for the arena at 125 S. Pennsylvania St., known for the past 10 years as Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Pacers Sports & Entertainment, along with Gov. Eric Holcomb and Mayor Joe Hogsett, held a press conference Monday to make it official.
Why did they change Bankers Life Fieldhouse?
Though the naming rights deal with Bankers Life expired in 2019, the name was kept on the building by Pacers Sports & Entertainment until a new naming sponsor could be found. “It’s so fitting that Gainbridge became the new name for this Fieldhouse,” said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.
