How is Cinryze administered?
As a guideline, administer CINRYZE by intravenous injection at a rate of 1 mL per minute. A single dose of 500 U (reconstituted in 5 mL) of CINRYZE should be administered over 5 minutes. A single dose of 1,000 U (reconstituted in 10 mL) of CINRYZE should be administered over 10 minutes.
How do I give a berinert?
Administer Berinert at a dose of 20 International Units (IU) per kg body weight by intravenous injection. Doses lower than 20 IU/kg body weight should not be administered. Berinert is provided as a freeze-dried powder for reconstitution with the Sterile Water for Injection, USP provided.
